A few years ago my back issues came back to haunt me. In the last 2 years, I have had a 2 surgeries, and that brings the total of spinal interventions to 6, between my neck and back. As of October 2025 I have been able to start engraving again. I am able to sit straight up with a microscope for small pieces. I have finally put my mad scientist skills to work and modified a portable massage chair to keep my back and neck straight for hours at time. After over 2 years, I no longer have a cane, and I am able to engrave drums again, and that makes me very happy.
